Our last regular regular season game was against Jacksonville at home, where the Bulls beat us 9-6. The starters only played the first half knowing we already had a berth in the SummerBowl.
Brain makes a nice sideline grab here. In his half of work he had 4 catches for 25 yards.
That takes us to 7-3 on the season and a trip to the SummerBowl, being held in Jacksonville this year. Our opponent will be none other than the Baltimore Stars, who are making their 4th appearance in the championship in 4 years. When we faced the Stars this year, they beat us 12-9..... revenge time.
Safety Bruce Laird made the All-USFL team.
As did kicker Tim Taylor.
And Defensive End Kit Lathrop was named the USFL's Defensive Player of the Year.
New Jersey's Hershel Walker was voted the USFL Most Valuable Player.
I made the All-USFL team!!!! Awesome. I'd just like to say that I was happy to have the chance to earn back everyone's respect after my dreadful performance in the rain. And thanks to my team, without them getting into position and playing as tough as they do this wouldn't be possible.
