NFL sketches
I got a tan toned sketchbook recently and some white gel pens. I dug out my Prisma markers and started having a little fun. The Terry Owens drawing below came at the request of his widow. Terry passed away a few years back from CTE.

Los Angeles Rams redesign concept
ESPN is running a contest to redesign the Rams uniforms now that they are returning to Los Angeles, so I took a crack at it. I mixed a little 60's feel with the 70's /80's feel and came up with this. The yellow takes a back seat to the white and works as a trim color. I think it has a nice balance and over all, has a classic feel th as t would fit in with the likes of the Rsiders, Bears, and Packers.... therefore we'll never see Nike allow it :)

Early 80's St. Louis Cardinals electric football figures
Just got these done... I love these uniforms because the home and away jerseys were altogether different. Usually it's the same set up, just on dark and white material. The Cardinals had stripes on the away jerseys while the home were just red.
Christmas present for my brother....
I made this for my brother... big Bronco fan.... I'm thinking of doing more of these "Miniature Moments " in the future.... everything you see on the base (which I got super cheap from hobby lobby) I made... the decal that tells the "moment", the figures I cast and molded from the incredible Jennings electric football figures, and I made decals for and hand painted the players. The grass is model railroad grass.

Electric Football San Diego Chargers
I'm working on a solitaire league of the era when I started watching football.... 1981ish... I'll pretty much stick with the players from that time range, but I may venture into 1983 or 84, depending on certain HOF players who would be more interesting to have on the teams.... like John Elway instead of Craig Morton for example. First up, the San Diego Chargers.... I loved them from the (my) start... Dan Fouts, and those lighting bolts all over the uniforms.
The last pic shows the first team I did when I got back into the hobby.... the 60's chargers.... I feel like I've come a long way since then as far as shading and realism.

Peyton Manning Painting
I did a painting for a friend recently and he actually got it autographed by Peyton Manning. Too cool :)
