The USFL just WON their antitrust suit versus the NFL, and now armed with the money they so desperately needed, have decided to remain a spring league. The league will be organized as follows:

Liberty Division
Baltimore Stars
Boston Breakers
New Jersey Generals
Washington Federals

Independence Division
Jacksonville Bulls
Memphis Showboats
Orlando Renegades
Tampa Bay Bandits

Freedom Division
Arizona Outlaws
Houston Gamblers
Los Angeles Express
Michigan Panthers

4 teams will qualify for the playoffs at season's end, and the 4th USFL Championship will be held as originally planned in Jacksonville, Florida.
