Week 7

Home versus the Baltimore Stars

Damnit.... we lost again. This time to the Stars 12-9. That brings our record down to 5-2, just in time for a match-up in Orlando (4-3) next week  for the division lead.

Kelvin Bryant, the USFL's second leading rusher behind Hershel Walker, gained 58 yards on the day.

Chuck Fusina, the league's top rated quarterback had 175 yards and 1 TD.

Earlier in the week, William Fuller was quoted as saying "Sanny won't scramble on us.... he's chicken." Well, taking a page from Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future, I was out to show that "Noone calls me chicken." I think I look more like an albatross here.

Brian had 3 catches for 41 yards. After a slow start, he's ranked 15th in the league for receivers with 237 yards.

Tim wanted to win back the trust of his teammates this week, and he did, going 3 for 3 and accounting for all of our points. He is the highest rated kicker in the USFL at 93.3%.

Well, like I said, we're off to Orlando for our next game, where the Renegades will want to avenge the 26-14 loss we handed them in week 5. We need this to remain atop the Independence Division.
